Hi ,

If you're not used to seeing them a lot, you may not know which is which and what the difference is.

For example, in the image below, do you know which represents knitting and which represents crochet?

The cloth on the left is knitted and the one on the right is crocheted. They are similar, yet different. One uses needles while the other uses hooks.

The same thing could be said about the parts of a layer in the Layers panel of PSE or PS. If you're not used to seeing them a lot, you may not know which is which and what the difference is.

Take a quick quiz. Can you name the parts in the image below? Can you explain what all the parts do? They all have specific names and specific functions. They cannot be mixed up. They are all important to how you scrap.
