Last week I came across an article about camping etiquette. I had to giggle a bit because, honestly, a good camping weekend can be quickly ruined by those who don't follow such etiquette!

Etiquette #1---Be a Good Neighbor, Stay Over There

The top-most rule was that campers are expected to not encroach upon the territory of other campers. In other words, don't walk through other people's campsites! Sheesh. Rude.

Etiquette #2---Why So Loud? There's No Need To Shout

I seriously don't think that campers realize how far sound carries. But excuse the quick rant . . . If you want to listen to loud music and shout and party...go do it at home! I go camping to be in nature and relax, not to listen to a bunch of campers three sites down. Okay. Rant over.

Speaking of Shouting, Why Are You Doing It?

Speaking of shouting---all caps in a text, email, or note indicate shouting. And so it would MAKE SENSE (see what I did there?) to say that the same thing goes for scrapbook pages. If you're using all caps in your journaling, ask yourself why.

All Caps Can Be Artsy, But Not Always

Ultra-experienced scrapbookers can pull off the artsy look of all caps on a scrapbook page. But honestly, most of the time, it just looks like you're shouting. My best advice:

If you mean to SHOUT, then use all caps in your title or journaling. Be loud, just not at a campground.
If your title or journaling would sound stupid when shouted, then don't use all caps. Easy peasy.
