When it comes to digital scrapbooking, there are a few things we all try to avoid, such as missing drop shadows, clashing colors, and proportions that just feel “off,” to name a few.

There are also things we should try to avoid when taking pictures outdoors. In this week’s Take Better Phone Photos blog post, I share what those are. I also share my favorite time of day to take photos outside. These outdoor lighting tips will help you take better photos this summer.

And better photos mean better scrapbook pages. When you put your improved shots to use, be sure to share your layouts with us in the gallery. We love seeing what you create!
