Hi ,
I love to take
photos of Christmas, don't you? Here are 3 Christmas photos tips you can try this holiday season.
1. Take close up photos of the ornaments, either on the tree or on the floor with a white sheet or piece of cardboard behind them. Photos like this add
variety to a Christmas scrapbook page, where most of the photos tend to be from a distance.
2. If you have a Christmas tradition, write down how the tradition got started and take one or more photos. We have a set of 4 ruby red cups that Charlie's
parents bought and only used for drinking eggnog at Christmas. The cups have been passed down to us, and now we follow the same tradition. Future generations will love hearing about these traditions!

3. Use the Christmas tree as an excuse to take photos of children. Last Sunday at church I was taking photos after the service of the ornaments on the large tree in the sanctuary. One little girl was curious, so I showed her the photos on the LCD screen on the back of my camera and asked her if she would help me photograph some more ornaments. She was delighted and let me take photo after photo,
including the photo above.
So wait until the light is good, and then ask your children to show you their favorite ornaments. Show them the LCD screen as you take the photos so they can see the result, and don't talk about taking photos of them. Tell them you're taking photos of the ornaments. You'll be surprised at how well they cooperate!
