Hi ,

He said, "Stop Drooling on my Camera."

OK, so he didn't actually say it, but you know the demonstrator was thinking it.

You see, I was at an expo for video professionals. Was I there to browse through all those high tech gadgets being demoed? Well, no. I was there for one reason, and one reason only. The Canon EOS 5D... which brings me back to drooling over cameras.

Like every other scrapbooker, there are lots of "toys" I would love to have. I can just taste how sweet owning a particular gizmo or goodie would be. And there's no mistake - a Canon EOS 5D would be very, very fun.

However, I don't want to ever forget that having the coolest "toys" isn't what scrapbooking is about. Sure, having the right tools for the job is important, but ultimately, it's the people that matter, not whether your love for them is recorded with top-of-the-line equipment.

So, I don't have a new camera this week. But what I do have is the people I love -- and that's all I really need. I suspect that you'll agree with me on that one.

Love and scrapbooking success,

Linda Sattgast
