Hi ,
Normally I don't wear pajamas to important meetings, but how was I to know?
I was scheduled to attend a webinar at 10:00 a.m., but I woke up early, so I headed to my home office about 4 a.m. wearing my pajamas and robe. I kind of got involved in my work and never did get dressed before the meeting started.
At 9:58 I clicked on the link for the webinar and...What?! Video conferencing? And me in my pajamas! I hadn't even washed yesterday's mascara out from under my eyes!
My son, Caleb, told me later that I should have covered up the webcam with a piece of duct tape. Being taken by surprise, though, I did what any self-respecting woman would do. I bolted out of my office and missed the first 10 minutes of the webinar so I could make myself presentable.
Dressing any way you want is one of the perks (and drawbacks) of working at home. If Big Brother happens to be watching me through my webcam (think back to the book 1984), I shudder to think of what he would see at any given point of the day.
You'd think there would be a lesson in all this, but I'll be switched if I can think of one.
Love and scrapbooking success,
Linda Sattgast
