Hi ,
It's always fascinating, hearing someone else's music playlist. Often there are songs you've heard before, mixed with ones you never have.
This time, it was the popular song Clocks, by Coldplay -- instantly recognizable, even in it's opening strains. But then something strange happened. The iconic opening bars suddenly segued into... a rumba beat?
Who would have guessed you could make a groovin' latin rhythm out of a laid-back song like Clocks -- and have it work? (This version, part of a charity album by Rhythms Del Mundo, really did feature Coldplay, too. It wasn't just some bizarre cover.)
So, what areas in your life (and scrapbooking) are in need of a little rhythmic update? It's just like the rumba version of Clocks -- you don't have to change the heart of who you are or what you like. Just... try re-mixing it a bit.
Give it a shot. And maybe when you're through, you'll even have something you can dance to.
Love and scrapbooking success,
