Hi ,

Here in the United States of America, we've just celebrated our Independence Day.

It's easy on any major holiday to simply see an excuse to party and nothing else, but it's usually worthwhile to take a closer look. In this holiday, I see many reasons to be grateful:
  • I live in a country where I have the safety and freedom to pursue the things I love.
  • I enjoy the benefit of free speech and a free press.
  • I have a say in my government.
It's easy to take these and other freedoms for granted, but they are actually rather spectacular. So, a big Thank You! to all those who have fought and continue to fight for these precious rights, both from my own country and also around the world!

Love and scrapbooking success,

Linda Sattgast
