I took French in school.
All I know how to say in French is "This is my pencil; my pencil is big."
Not a really a good use of my time.
Spanish, on the other hand, is fresh in my mind... thanks to my late afternoon soaks in the tub.
It has been going on for years.
I've got this thing that I do in the tub.
I like to study the back of the shampoo bottles -- or anything else I can reach up with my toes and knock off the shelves.
You see, in this part of the world many products (in my case, toiletries) have instructions written in both English and Spanish. So if you got the time, you can easily remove the mystery behind all those foreign words.
All this to say... expect to learn new things in unlikely places!
As you go about your usual routine this week, I'd just like to encourage you to take a minute to stop and look around.
You might be surprised at the learning opportunities that await you.
Go forth and shine your light,
