Hi ,

Confession: I loathe politics. There, I said it.
In my youngster years, government in general was presented to me in a way that made me want to tuck my tail and run! I wasn't feeling the love then, and I'm not feeling it now.

But regardless of my lack of political love, I still have an opinion and a vote. And with the passing of yet another President's Day in the US, I'm reminded of something I want my descendants to know about me... where I stand.

Whether you stand for the right, the left, the blue, the red, the donkey, the elephant, or maybe you don't even want to stand at all -- this is part of what makes you who you are. It's worth telling.

The year that stands before us in the US is slated to go down in history with big headlines. I encourage you to take some time out this week to create a photo-less layout that talks about what's going on in the world around you and what you think about it. When stacked up against a future online history text, your account will be soooo much more personal.

Oh! And a word of advice. Make sure and have a pint of your favorite ice cream nearby when you contemplate the state of our union. It will slow down the simmer. ;)

Have a great week, friend.
