Hi ,
When browsing the galleries here at Digital Scrapper, the thing I enjoy most is reading your journaling. Journaling adds a personal touch to a page that a photo simply cannot. It draws me in to the memories you are trying to capture.
One thing can stop me short, though, and that is a misspelled word. Believe me, I am right there with you. It seems everywhere I turn, there are programs and devices automatically correcting my misspelled words. This is allowing me to be lazy in the spelling department, which trickles over onto my scrapbook pages.
While Photoshop will not instantly alert you to a misspelled word, it does come equipped with a spell checker. You just have to remember to use it. You will find everything you need in the Menu Bar. Simply choose Edit > Check Spelling. Instantly, no more typos.
Photoshop Elements, on the other hand, does not come equipped with a spell checker. So what is a gal to do? Well, the most popular solution is to type out your journaling in a text editing program first, such as WordPad or TextEdit.
These simple extra steps can make a big difference in the overall loveliness of your scrapbook page... and they can save you the hassle of having to redo the page later. :)
Now as for creating the rest of your page... learn how to revolutionize your workflow with the Scrap It Now templates! (See below.)
Have a great week, friend.
