June 12, 2012 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 10 Issue 24
|
Hi ,
As I was preparing my scrapbook pages for this month's Your Story. Brilliant. assignment, I ran across some journaling that I did while in high school. The next day I was able to share the find with my dad. We had some good laughs, and he shed a few tears at the long ago memories. I was able to thank him again for being such a good encouragement, and he reinforced how proud he was of me. That was a good day.
Father's Day is just a stone's throw away. Have you got your card ready? Got something sappy to write inside? Whether you are honoring your dear old dad, your darling hunk of a husband, or a son who has done you proud -- all it really takes is a little effort to show how much you care. Guys love that sappy stuff, regardless if they'll admit it or not.
Hugs to you and your family. Have a great week, friend.
