Hi ,

The word puppy is synonymous with the word destruction. I should know. Sweet little Jackson Matthews joined our family last month. Since then, Jackson has managed to: shred and devour approximately 400 napkins, sever at least 2 electrical cords, pluck off all the marigold heads, and carry off all the doorstops in the house -- to where, we have no idea. Jackson's path of destruction grows daily... along with our love for him.

Jackson the PuppyIsn't it funny how something that drives you totally bonkers can also bring you such joy? Photoshop can be frustrating. Scrapbooking can be stressful. But the joy that comes with a finished layout supersedes all that. The layout becomes a labor of love and a prized possession.

Are you finding time to scrapbook this summer? Keeping up with your classes, projects, and scrap-able events? I know it's difficult. I too am getting behind. I'm wondering... how are you fitting it all in? What's your plan for keeping up with learning and creating this summer? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Join me in the forum.

Have a great week, friend. (And don't forget to check out the new mini-class below!)

Scrap It Now: "The Scrap It Now Template System has freed up the time it used to take me to create a layout."

Mary Newman: I was very excited when I first saw the Scrap-It-Now Template System. I've found that they're the first place I go when I want to scrap a layout. All the "hard" creative decisions have been made for me.

All I have to do is figure out how many photos I'm going to use, select the corresponding template and choose a background. Then I just start playing in all my Digital Scrapper paper and elements and decide which ones I like best.

The Scrap-It-Now Template System has freed up the time it used to take me to create a layout. Now I can create several layouts in just a couple of hours. I love this new system, and I can't wait for the next set to be offered.
