Hi ,
Last week my girlfriend Maria and I had the opportunity to attended a KelbyTrainingLive seminar hosted by Dave Cross in Indianapolis. The focus of the seminar was the newly released Photoshop CS6 and its new features. It was about all I could do not to rise up out of my seat and start singing the Hallelujah Chorus 50 times throughout the course of the day. I am SO excited to get my upgrade installed! And speaking of excitement, I always look forward to seeing what Susie comes up with for our font picks of the month. These fonts would be a fun complement to a Father's Day card or a child's birthday card. Be sure to check them out and grab the goodie. The goodie link is set to expire one week from today.
Also, have you checked out our new Scrap-It-Now Template System? Sharon is chiming in this week with her thoughts. Then we've got a brand new class from Guest Instructor Michelle Shefveland, the Premier Trailer, and a free Digi Scrap Tutorial to check out.
WHEW! This has been a great month! June is looking to be even better.
Have a great week, friend.

Sharon Maughan: Here's my true confession: sometimes I'm so busy at Digital Scrapper that I don't take time to scrap my OWN pictures! I know, right?! But recently, I downloaded lots of photos from my camera and felt just a little guilty that they would probably sit on my computer for ages. I definitely needed to change up my game plan, so I selected some pictures that my son had just taken at a week-long science fair, as well as lots of 'extras' from another son's wedding last month, and put the Scrap-It-Now Template System
to the test. Was it really that quick and easy? All I can say is that I'm a believer now.*Ü* In just a couple of hours, I had scrapped 31 photos on four layouts! Even better -- no photo was more than a month old! That's got to be a record for me. I loved being able to choose a photo template based on how many pictures I had and then pick a background that looked just right with that arrangement. Can you tell that I used the same two templates for each wedding layout and just rotated them? My scrapping style is pretty simple -- I love 'white space' -- and the Scrap It Now Templates worked as well for my simple pages as they do for embellished ones. Now I am one very happy scrapper!
FAVORITE FEATURE: If I had a photo that didn't quite fit into the clipping mask on the photo template, I could just click and drag to resize that individual mask and voilá -- a perfect fit every time! Loved it!
