Hi ,
The scrapbook page above by papertown reminds me... I LOVE tags!
I'd attach one to every single layout I create -- if I had more ideas for using them. With this in mind, I set out to bring you 5 techniques for tagging your pages. Maybe it will help inspire your creative juices today.
1) Stitch that little stinker down! Drag out your virtual sewing machine and run a couple strings of stitches up and down the top of that tag. That will keep him in place!
2) Clip a photo to your tag. This will add wow to your scrapbook page instantly.
3) Designers put a lot of creativity into their tags. This tag down below by Susan Bartolini looks fabulous even when the end is cut off and stitched onto the edge of a journaling square. This just reminds me to think outside the box when considering my tag stash.
4) Hang your tag traditionally from the string and "attach" it to your page with a staple. This would be most socially acceptable -- in case you were worried about being made fun of in tagging circles. :)
5) Maybe your tag is shy. If so, let him peek his head out from behind a pile of other stuff just long enough to say hi. This makes for a nice surprise for those who stick around long enough to study your artistic talent.
That's it for now. Hope I've inspired you. See you next week. Tag! You're it!

P.S. The photo I used in my tag examples are of my sweet 'nephew,' Jaycik. He will turn 1 year old this week. Happy Birthday, Jaycik!
