Here in Northern Indiana, the corn fields are all harvested, the Autumn leaves are mostly down, and snow is predicted for this week. That's just about right. The poor little trick-or-treaters will spend another year ringing doorbells while freezing their britches off.
Speaking of trick-or-treaters -- I saw a card the other day featuring two kids all dressed up and going door to door. The caption read, "Do you have chocolate? My mom is going to eat half of my candy and she likes chocolate." Bahahaha. So true. So true.
Our desire for chocolate amazingly resembles a scrapbooking stash, I'd say. We just can't get enough.
