Hi ,
Do you have an OBF? OBF, of course, stands for Online Best Friend. You didn't know that? Well, that's because I made it up! Hee hee.
Your OBF is someone you met out in Digiland or any other web-based platform. They are typically someone you've never had the pleasure to meet face to face, but you share life with them on a regular basis over the digital airwaves.
All this to say... Guess who I met last week for the first time ever? You guessed it, my OBF. Sharon Maughan (from Digital Scrapper) and I have been online friends since Oct 2008. Just recently she was only a couple hundred miles from my home, so we jumped at the opportunity to meet IRL (in real life). I have to tell you, I had the most wonderful time spending the day with Sharon. Check out our photo above. :)
During this month of Thankfulness, I'd encourage you to make an effort to meet IRL with your OBF. Plan a date, meet half way, make it happen. True friends are one of life's most precious blessings -- even cyber friends.

I (Mary Newman) am very thankful for my job at Digital Scrapper, where I answer your emails, and I've gotten to know many of you. I am thankful for so many things, it was hard to narrow it down to just three. The obvious two are family and friends, but the third is something that I think we take for granted. I wanted to include Freedom, because without it we wouldn't have so many things to be thankful for.
Of all God's abundant blessings, these three in the picture with me, I (Darcy Baldwin), hold most dear -- my husband, Russ, and my boys, Connor and Aiden. I'm blessed to be able to stay home and join my children in learning about the world God created for them, and oh so thankful for my family, awesome friends, and a great new family here at Digital Scrapper!
