As I write, there is an Advent Calendar hanging on the door just inside my kitchen. Each year I cringe as it makes its way up from the basement. Why? Well, the thing is UGLY! You see, we adopted it during our first-ever visit to Disney World in 2001. We were all about Mickey Mouse at the time and HAD to have it!
Regardless of my love loss for Disney decor, our Mickey Mouse Advent appears in late November each and every year, bringing with it the joy and anticipation of Christmas. It's a good thing. It's not to be missed.
