Hi ,

My Grandmother was a pie baker. If she knew I'd be stopping by, she'd always have a warm apple pie waiting for me. By the time I pulled into my driveway at home, the pie would be half eaten... no fork required. True story! My mouth waters just thinking about it!

When you smell the aroma of warm apple pie, what do you think of? Does it remind you of your Grandmother? When you hear church bells ringing, does it instantly take you back to a special place? Sit and think of what words you would use to describe it.

Many of us have trouble thinking of what to say on a scrapbook page. If that describes you, try turning to your five senses to help describe those memories and help your reader experience them, too. Use your sense of smell, taste, sight, touch, and hearing to help us "see" the memories you want to share.

Future generations will be thankful that you took the time jot it all down.

Happy Thanksgiving, friend, from my house to yours.

Thankful For:
Thankful: Linda Sattgast

Almost every night, as I turn out the light and snuggle under the covers, I say a prayer of thankfulness for the many blessings I enjoy. I am so aware that many people don't enjoy the luxury of a roof over their heads, a full meal, and a caring family. I'm also blessed that my entire family--my husband Charlie, our son Caleb, and our daughter Allison work with me at Digital Scrapper. And we wouldn't be doing what WE do if it wasn't for YOU being part of our community! So THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful hobby with us! xoxo

Photoshop Upgrade Path Narrows!

As we reach year's end, we want those of you who use Adobe Photoshop to be aware of a major change in Adobe's upgrade policy. You only have until December 31, 2012 to upgrade to CS6 if you have a CS3 or CS4 version of either Photoshop or any of their other Creative Suite professional packages.

Starting January 1, 2013, only CS5 or CS5.5 products will be upgradable to CS6. After that time, CS3 and CS4 users will have to purchase CS6 at full retail price. Unfortunately, versions prior to CS3 are no longer being offered an upgrade path.

Visit Adobe.com for more details.
