Hi ,

Have you met my friend Floating Fred? Floating Fred was once a sweet little font with a promising future. One afternoon Fred encountered a dark and gloomy shadow. From that point on, Floating Fred's future was filled with failures. Sad face.

Confession . . . I made that story up! Haha. But, seriously folks, sweet little fonts should never ever meet with the gloom and doom of a drop shadow. It's a fact. Fonts don't float.

This week on the blog, I've started a new teaching series entitled Avoidable Design Disasters. In the first part of the series, I'll share with you 5 Journaling Design Disasters that you can easily avoid. Click on the button below to interact with me and our community of readers.

I'm glad you had the chance to meet Floating Fred. I can't wait to see who comes across our path next week!

Have a great week, friend.

P.S. If you have Floating Fred type on some of your pages, we still love you. But a friend will tell you if you have spinach in your teeth or if your type design doesn't follow best practices, right? That's all we're saying!
