Hi ,

Hooray to the graduates of the very first Art of Blending class taught by Linda Sattgast. They and you are just in time for the next step--Photo Art Blends by Michelle Shefveland, which was officially announced yesterday. Read below for more information.

Speaking of blending, do you have a favorite Blend Mode? Is there one that seems to get more use than all the others? I love to sit and cycle through them to see all the variations, but the one that gets the most use in my panel is probably Multiply.

Blending Example

Because its purpose is to darken things, the Multiply Blend Mode is great for removing whites and other light colors from the active layer. Using Blend Modes with the papers from your favorite kit will help you stretch a kit further. You may never know the possibilities until you try them out.

Ready to go deeper in your blending knowledge? Check out this new class. . . .
