Hi ,

The heartbleed bug has been a major concern in the past couple days. If you haven't heard of it, heartbleed is a vulnerability in OpenSSL that allows an attacker to gain access to encrypted information passed on the web. It affects about two-thirds of websites, which is a lot! Here is an article in USA today with some concise information on the problem.

We wanted to let you know that Digital Scrapper is one of the sites that falls into the third not affected by the heartbleed bug. Our server runs on CentOS 5, an operating system version that was not vulnerable to the bug. We take your security seriously and wanted you to know we've been quick to confirm that our site is safe.

So here's the summary: your information on DigitalScrapper.com was never at risk from this bug, so you can safely access Premier, attend classes, or make purchases on our site at any time.

Love and Scrapbooking Success,
