Glaze Your Donuts, Not Your Brain.

Hi ,

Do you ever glaze over? I'm not talking donuts, I'm talking brain activity--or rather lack thereof. You know what I mean right?

It's when you are staring at something so long that you see it, but you don't really see it. Your eyes are there, but your brain is somewhere else. In fact, I'm pretty sure your brain isn't anywhere. It's just stalled.

In a little blip of self-evaluation this week, I find I have glazing tendencies in two main areas.

#1. Yearly taxes.
Happy tax day to all you lovely Americans, by the way. That whole "give back to Caesar" thing has got me feeling pretty grumpy today. Hope your 2013 turned out better than mine.

#2. Scrapbooking.
Ya. You heard right. How could I possibly put scrapbooking and yearly taxes in the same category? Well, I have this little brain disease--called perfectionism--and when it gets up and running I find myself staring at my monitor with a glazed over expression on my face. Taxes have to be perfect (Don't even get me started!), but scrapbooking does not. Join me on the blog this week for a little perfectionism therapy. Maybe we should start a support group??

Have a great week, friend. Make sure and check out the FREE Digi Scrap Tutorial this week.
