Hi ,
Do you Dodge and Burn? Those two Photoshop tools are typically used in tandem as a way of making photos lighter or darker in places, or as a way of adding shadows and highlights to objects or elements to make them appear more realistic.
Instead of manually switching between the Dodge and Burn tools, use this shortcut: When using the Burn tool, just press and hold the Alt key (Mac: Opt key) and Photoshop will temporarily switch to the Dodge tool (and vice versa). How cool is that?
Note: When using this shortcut, Tool Options won't change, but the brush will change. For proof, look at the History panel after using this shortcut.
Below you'll find two more super cool tutorials. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create this week in the galleries! See you there.

Remember the magic of View-Master slide reels when you were a kid? Christina Rambo will show you how to create a slide reel that will add a bit of nostalgia to your page. It's also a fantastic way to display lots of photos on one page!
The creation process is easy and fun, and Christina gives some great ideas on how to decorate and personalize your slide reel.
