Hi ,

Last Saturday four-year-old Miss Thea and I spent the day together. Within the first five minutes of being at my house, we had gone through everything I had planned for the entire day. I was worn out!

So, I defaulted to my super-secret, fail-proof plan for enquiring four-year-olds--we sat on the couch and just talked. The topics were deep.
  • Candy. Her favorite Halloween candy is "mandarin oranges." Ha! Where does this kid trick-or-treat??
  • Christmas. She was appalled as to why I still have Christmas decorations up from last year. She does have a point there. (I hang my head in shame.)
  • Dogs. Thea is glad she doesn't have to use the restroom outside. Me, too!
These are just three of the hundreds of topics we covered that day. It was a day (and a conversation) that I never want to forget. It had all the makings of a fantastic scrapbook page.

Hope to see you in the gallery this week!
