Hi ,
This week Digital Scrapper will celebrate the big 1-2. That’s right. We’re turning 12 and we’d like to invite you to celebrate with us.
But first, I thought it might be fun to take a little trip down memory lane.
Here are some important dates and landmarks as told by our founder, Linda Sattgast:

January 2001 The idea for digital scrapbooking popped into my head when I awoke at 3:00 a.m. I thought I had invented digital scrapbooking! (I later found out other people had similar epiphanies.)

It took two and a half more years to learn Photoshop and Photoshop Elements and prepare my first video training course.

September 4, 2003 We officially started our company under the name Scrapper’s Guide. I sent out my first newsletter with a tutorial on how to make a metal frame for a digital photo using a layer style available in Photoshop Elements.

September 1, 2005 We launched our Digital Scrapper Premier membership. Some of you were around way back then and became charter members!

Fall of 2010 I launched my first online class: Learn Digital Scrapbooking bundled with Easy Page Design.

2011 We officially changed our name from Scrapper’s Guide to Digital Scrapper.

Today we have a wonderfully supportive community and a set of classes that rivals the best on the web. It gives me great joy to help someone along the digital scrapbooking journey, so a BIG thanks to all the great students who have taken my classes!
