July 14, 2015 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 13 Issue 28
Hi ,
How many photos do you typically take every month? If you’re like me, some months you end up with a ba-zillion (because of some super-awesome event) and other months you are only left with 5 photos of the dog. . . all with the
same expression, but equally adorable!
I find that if I have a purpose in mind—in this case a list—I am much more likely to capture my life and have something to scrap about. Check out this list of Can’t-Miss Photos for July. Maybe it will inspire you to get snappin’ and scrappin’.
· Farm fields · Family reunions · Camping activities · Fun in the sun · Pool time · A concert in the park · Bugs and frogs · Sunbathing · Watermelon!
· Ice cream or snow cones · Flags flying
Have a great week, friends. See you in the forum.
Beautiful Blending
One of the most popular scrapbooking techniques is to blend photos, papers, and even embellishments into the page. It’s one of my favorite techniques and can be used on any style of layout, whether it’s artistic using paint, or soft and pretty using florals and patterns. In this lesson we’re going to create a blended overlay using the Type and Gradient
tools!
