January 26, 2016 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 14 Issue 4
Hi ,
Did you make resolutions for 2016? If so, how are yours going?
One of my resolutions was to take better (and more meaningful) photos. I’m in awe of some of the photos I see in the gallery—for example, checkout the one featured below by riet.
Another similar resolution of mine was to take MORE photos. I’ll admit it. I’m a lazy photographer. I have the camera. I have the skill. I even have fairly suitable subjects. I simply just do not take the time to point and shoot. Maybe that’s you, too? Recently, however, I’ve been inspired. Keep reading...

post.

Congratulations, garrynkim!
The winner of our Painting With Light Challenge and the Digital Scrapper Gift Certificate is garrynkim. Read what Linda has to say about her top pick below. Then, leave congratulations in the
gallery.
“I so enjoyed seeing photos and pages using several of my Magic of Light tutorials from the January Premier issue. What a creative community! Since Painting With Light was the specific tutorial challenge, I chose the delightful before and after photo by garrynkim. The photo was great but underexposed and a little blah for color. The “after” photo pops with color
and light and makes a great base photo for the final scrapbook page. Nice work, garrynkim!” ~ Linda Sattgast.
