Hi ,
Last week I was on the phone with Linda and she said,
“I NEVER use that tool. You lose all your options.”
Eeek! A girl without options is no girl at all. (wink)
Linda was referring to the Eraser tool and its destructive and limiting results in Photoshop or Elements.
Not convinced? Think of it this way—the Eraser tool works against a value at the very heart of digital editing and art—the ability to create and edit non-destructively.
So, where does that leave you? Consider taking some savvy advice from a true friend. It’s time you traded in your icky eraser for the all-powerful Mighty Mask.
The Mighty Mask (a.k.a. the layer mask) not only replaces Eraser tool functions, it also opens up a whole new world of tricks and effects to those willing to learn—guaranteed.
