Hi ,

Everyone, when prompted by friends or family, has a favorite story to tell. Mine goes something like this . . .

“In the summer of 1989, my hunk and I went camping in a two person tent. That night a tornado unexpectedly tore through the campground. The White’s have not camped to this day.”

That quick version of the story has been been repeated a gazillion times over the years when having to explain why Jen White does NOT camp. The story is a family favorite.

Fast forward to 2017. The White Camping Ban is being nullified. The Whites bought a camper! Whoa. How’s that for change (with a pinch of insanity)?

Speaking of Change

Several forum members spoke up and asked to have honorable mentions chosen in addition to our monthly challenge top pick. Below you’ll find that wish fulfilled. Thanks for the idea!

If you have an idea for change, we are always open to hear it. We don’t promise to implement every idea, but we’ll do our best to keep Digital Scrapper a great place to be.

Have a great week. See you in the galleries.

Jen White

P.S. You can read the full version of my camping story in this month’s challenge gallery. You’ll find the link to that gallery on the blog.

P.P.S. Did you miss it? March 31 was World Backup Day. Gather with me in the forum to tell me how YOU back up.

What’s Your Favorite?

Danica’s favorite is Paris, even when it’s hot and stinky (haha). Vynette’s favorite is the camera in her iPhone, because that’s the camera she always has with her. So I’m wondering, what is your favorite?

During the month of April, scrap your favorite and tell us about it. Doing so automatically makes you eligible to win a $25 gift certificate from GingerScraps. Get all the details on the blog - April Journaling Challenge.

Top Pick for our March Challenge

Awkward by Nann is a fun and fabulous scrapbook page that showcases a perfect childhood memory. The page design has wonderful pops of color and lots of fun paper layers. And, that story - it’s just so funny! What a great moment captured!!

Honorable Mentions

It’s always tough to pick just one winner from a gallery. Here are several pages that were just too good not to mention. We enjoyed the story they had to tell, both with journaling and with photos. Read more about the challenge and congratulate the winners on the blog.
