June 13, 2017 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 15 Issue 24
Hi ,
Some things on the web are ever changing.
Our weekly newsletter, for example, is available on the web for one week only. (Yes, it's also available in email form.) After that, it’s gone forever. We replace it with the next week’s news.
If you’ve ever wanted to save a newsletter (or any other web page) to your computer, here are two ideas:
Save As a PDF Using Print
Create a PDF of any web page, complete with images and clickable links, that you can save to whatever folder you want on your computer.
-
Within your computer’s browser, choose File > Print.
-
In the dialog box, open the PDF menu in the lower left corner and choose Save as PDF.
Save As a PDF Using PrintFriendly
I use PrintFriendly.com to create the PDFs for our QwikTutorials. Their motto is "Make Any Web Page Print Friendly." They also have an option to save the web page as a PDF and strip away anything you don’t want included.
Hopefully this little tip will help you enjoy more of the web. Have a great week.
