Hi ,
My memory is not what it used to be. How about you? Ya, I thought so.
Digital Scrapper has published thousands of FREE tutorials over the years. Some are on our website. Some are on our blog. Some are on social media sites like YouTube.
I can see a lot of them in my head. I can even remember a few of the main details. But if someone were to ask me to name them or who wrote them, I’d be dead in the water.
What’s a girl to do?
I’ll tell you what the girls here at Digital Scrapper do. We google it.
Just recently a forum thread was started by Jan who wanted the link to a tutorial Digital Scrapper had published about finding the right print size for type and elements on a scrapbook page.
Linda came to the rescue. Here’s how she did it.
Does it have to be Google? No. Any search engine should work similarly.
Step Two: Enter Keywords
First, put in the website you want to search. If you enter digitalscrapper.com, you will be searching our site and everything associated with it first, including our blog and social media.
Next type in some keywords you can remember. Jan could remember the tutorial was about determining the print size of elements on her scrapbook page—how big or small they would look after the page was printed— so “print” and “size” are good keywords.
Press Enter/Return to get the results of your search.
Step Three: Seek and Find
At the top of Google’s search you’ll see the most relevant posts from Digital Scrapper. Give it a try. You’ll find the one Jan was looking for right at the top of the list.
Thanks, Jan, for inspiring this quick tutorial. I’m glad you found what you were looking for!
Have a great week. See you in the gallery.
