Hi ,
Because I’ve been burned before, I’m always leary of online photo storage.
I once uploaded all my high resolution photos into a service touting unlimited storage. It was only later that I learned all my photos were compressed and underwent a major loss of quality. They weren’t trying to trick me, I just didn’t read the details of what I was getting.
Because of this, I caution you to read the details of your primary online photo storage. Make sure to ask the question, “Can I download the same exact quality of photo that I uploaded?”
Getting More Specific
If you, or anyone you know, uses Facebook as a primary source for photo storage, you should know that is not what Facebook was intended for. Facebook galleries are for sharing, not for storage.
Read more about this subject and two others below.
Have a great week. See you in the galleries.
Warning! -- Facebook Photo Gallery
Dear Friends,
Please do not use Facebook as your primary form of online photo storage. Facebook compresses images to make them shareable. It is not a storage solution.
Sincerely, Jen White
