How To Weave A Ribbon The RIGHT Way (Free Video)

You don’t know what you don’t know, right?

For example, it seems right to say: When weaving a ribbon through word art, all you need to do is mask away the parts of the ribbon you don’t want to show. This is what I did in the first image below.

But, when compared to the correct way to weave a ribbon--which uses custom shadows--the difference is clear, as illustrated above.

The problem is, you cannot mask away a drop shadow when it’s applied as a style. Regardless of what you do, the shadow will intrude upon the word art making things appear “off.”
