Do you know the super-secret keyboard shortcut for moving brush strokes on the fly? This is a new one to me, so I thought I’d pass it along to you!
Open up your program and give it a try:
- Create a new document.
- Make black the Foreground Color Chip.
- Create a new layer (always brush on a new layer).
- Get the Brush tool.
- Brush on the document.
Okay, here’s the
shortcut:
- Hold down the Ctrl key (Mac: Cmd key) and click and drag on the brush strokes to move them around. Let go of the Ctrl/Cmd key and you are back on the Brush tool.
Note: This shortcut works best if you uncheck Auto-Select in the Tool Options of the Move tool.
