Hi ,
If you regularly purchase digital scrapbooking kits, then you have these in your stash.
Some designers call them pocket cards. Others call them journaling cards. But regardless of what they call them, you should
think of them as versatile little chunks of cutie goodness.
These 3x4 cards in your stash are extremely versatile—if you’ve trained
yourself to think outside the box.
Here’s the problem: As they stand, 3x4 cards are of little use to me. I am not a pocket scrapbooker and they don’t incorporate well into my scrapbooking style.
Here’s one solution: Using 3x4s as greeting card backgrounds is not only quick, but a lot of the creative goodness is
already done for me.
Here are two examples I cooked up in just a few minutes using two of the cards above.
I wonder what greeting cards YOU could quickly create using YOUR stash of 3x4s. I look forward to seeing them in our
Greeting Card Gallery.
Until then, check out the quick card I created below using a 3x4 and my latest Qwik Tutorial on the blog.
Have a great week!
