Hi ,
Have you ever had photo envy?
Photo envy could refer to someone’s amazing photo skills--making you not only wish you had their skills, but also their seemingly-amazing camera.
Photo envy could also refer to someone’s endless collection of heritage photos. “Oh how I wish my heritage had been documented like theirs!”

I’m not talking about either of those
two things, however.
The photo envy I often find myself fretting about is when I see photos taken by an individual who seems to have a brilliantly white and uncluttered house. This person appears to effortlessly take everyday photos that are ready for magazine publications! UGH.
Well, here at my house, and at the houses of my family members--all in REAL life, there is no such thing as
brilliantly white walls, floors, and furniture. I live in a colorful world full of lived-in spaces which contain clutter to muck up the backgrounds of my photos.
Depressed now? Well don’t be!!
Consider yourself blessed to live amongst the colors and clutter made and left behind by loving family members--even the furry kind.
And after all…. Isn’t that one of the reasons we have Photoshop? To craftily remove unwanted color and clutter from the background of photos we love?
If you have the need---as I did today---to remove a glaring distraction of color from a beloved photo, then this week’s free Qwik Tutorial is for you. Check it out below.
Wow, that was some therapy session. Thanks for lending a listening ear.
I’m off to enjoy my colorful family. Have a great week!
