Marvel At the Results of 2 Stacked & Blended Images

Hi ,

Most people, including me, struggle with (at least occasionally) thinking outside the box.

For example, it never occurred to me to stack two different photos in order to lighten and add texture to one of them.

Above is a fabulous example of two stacked and blended images:

The first image is a photo of a flower garden
The second is a closeup from an art gallery painting (see the entire painting below)

The third image above is the result of stacking the first two images along with two blend modes. Isn’t that super cool?? I love how it softens the photo and gives it extra character.

Mind Blown After 3 Minutes of Syndee’s New Class

The images above are part of the first 3 minutes of Syndee’s new class, Scrapping With Filters: The Pointillize Effect (more about that below). My mind was blown and I was inspired to take her teaching further.

This is just one of the reasons I LOVE to learn from other instructors. They inspire me to think outside the box.
